Discover Our Story
Solylunadesigns is a family-owned company, Katherine Iguina is the artist, and her husband Michael Rives and daughter Valentina are her greatest love and inspiration.
They contribute to the business by managing the company and inspiring with new and creative ideas.
The logo was designed by the Katherine herself, in which the sun and the moon represent the duality, the positive and the negative, the light and the darkness, men and women, but they are interchangeable.
They are connected by an eclipse which indicates the merge of the two powers, the two dualities become one as like in a marriage, two separate people find love and merge into each other forming one pure love.
The number 8 is the symbol of infinity and balance — you can see it in its symmetrical shape.
For every blessing it receives, it puts one back out to the universe, it is represented in the sun rays and the phases the moon, which constitute the cycles nature and our own, this help us in renovation and takes us to the path of enlightenment.
In the center of the symbol a star is born from the love between the sun and the moon, with its sparkle illuminates both by awakening their true self.
The warm colors indicate diversity, happiness, love, passion, and vitality. The cool colors indicate serenity, peace, one with the universe. They are in a gradient because they is a reflection of our feelings.

Meet the Owner
My name is Katherine Iguina founder of Solylunadesigns and I am from the beautiful Island of Puerto Rico but live in Georgia US. I am a Veterinarian during the day which I love with passion, but have other interests which are my family, dancing especially to Latin music, jewelry and nature. At night and weekends my creative work starts. Since I was young, I have been interested in arts and crafts and it has been part of my life in many ways. Always been a spiritual person and through it, got introduced to the Crystal and Precious Stone World. One day my husband wanted a red stone bracelet and could not find anything that he liked, then I said, “I can make it for you”, and that is when our journey began. My creative work became a passion, my interest in nature and spirituality became one, and everything was integrated. This led to our family business Solylunadesigns and it has been a wonderful adventure ever since.
My favorite part of all of this, is that each stone is different, and they cannot be identically reproduced, which is relatable to our circumstances in life. Each one of us are unique and different in many ways, and those differences are what makes us special. Without those differences the world would be dull, so embrace your inner and outer beauty, because that is what brings magic to our World.
This new journey has led us to new horizons and spiritual paths that have joined us as a family more than ever. I hope that our products bring meaning and joy to your life and loved ones, because certainly they are made with positivity and love for all of you!
